Recently, China Post Group and CATL officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement to co-build a logistics battery bank and a zero-carbon supply chain ecosystem.
Leveraging their respective strengths, the two parties will use green finance to promote the low-carbon transition of the logistics industry and jointly practice high-quality development:
● Building a Logistics 'Battery Bank' Ecosystem: Focusing on various logistics applications—including urban distribution, heavy-duty long-haul trucking, autonomous vehicles, and drones—the two parties will jointly establish a logistics industry 'Battery Bank'. This initiative will provide comprehensive, full-lifecycle services to users within and beyond the China Post network, including battery leasing, intelligent charging/swapping, centralized operation and maintenance, and recycling.
● Creating a Zero-Carbon Logistics Demonstration System: Integrating advanced new energy transport capacity, automated equipment, robotics, and green operational models, the two parties will drive the decarbonization of logistics parks and jointly build an intelligent zero-carbon logistics service system.

● Providing Embedded Supply Chain Logistics Services: China Post will deeply integrate into CATL's production bases and smart factory supply chain systems, embedding warehousing and transport capacity directly into manufacturing parks. This service will span the entire process-from raw material inbound logistics and semi-finished product transfer to finished product-outbound logistics, while jointly establishing safety standards for battery logistics and transportation.
● Deepening Green Finance and Ecosystem Synergy: Integrating financial resources under China Post's subsidiaries—including The Postal Savings Bank of China, China Post Securities, and China Post Life Insurance—to provide settlement, financing, supply chain finance, and cross-border financial support, helping drive the electrification of the logistics industry.
Moving forward, the two parties will push for the implementation of all cooperative initiatives, leveraging technological innovation and network synergy to empower the transformation of traditional industries, and jointly contributing to the green and low-carbon transition of the transportation and logistics sectors.
