2019

Led the establishment of the National Engineering Research Center for Electrochemical Energy Storage Technology.

2018

Listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.


Launched the first overseas production base in Germany.

2017

2016

Responsible for the research and development of two new energy vehicle and smart grid projects in the national 13th Five-Year Plan's key R&D program.


Established the CATL Academician and Specialist Workstation.

2015

Acquired Guangdong Brunp Recycling Technology Limited, started development in battery recycling and regenerating industrial chains.


The first company in China to supply large quantities of NMC batteries for passenger vehicles.

2014

Established the first overseas subsidiary of Contemporary Amperex Technology GmbH in Germany.

2013
