CATL and Lianyungang Public Transport Sign 5-Year Strategic Cooperation Agreement
Recently, CATL signed a five-year strategic cooperation framework agreement with the Public Transport Group under Lianyungang Communications Holding Group. The two parties will deepen cooperation in areas including aftermarket vehicle services and urban battery-swapping networks, contributing to the low-carbon development of urban public transportation.
In terms of aftermarket services, NING Service has officially expanded into in Lianyungang. The service scope of the Lianyungang NING Service Center will extend from city buses to other commercial vehicles in the city-- such as heavy-duty trucks, logistics vehicles, and mining trucks--as well as passenger vehicles, while also providing extended warranty services for battery swapping.
Currently, Lianyungang has completed the construction of eight Choco-Swap battery-swapping stations. With the roll-out of more stations in the future, CATL will build a more efficient and convenient urban green energy-replenishment network in Lianyungang.
Looking ahead, the two parties will further extend the exploration into new energy applications from land to sea, cooperating on electric vessels across two key projects: the coastal zero-carbon freight corridor and intra-city inland waterway shipping, thereby establishing a benchmark for green transportation.
