CATL Signs Comprehensive Strategic Agreement with Yunnan to Advance Green Energy and Transportation
Recently, CATL and the People's Government of Yunnan Province signed a Comprehensive Strategic Cooperation Agreement in Kunming. In addition, CATL also signed cooperation agreements with Kunming, the Dianzhong New Area, as well as Yunnan Provincial Energy Group, Yunnan Communications Investment & Construction Group, and Sinopec Yunnan separately. This marks the full-scale launch of in-depth multi-field cooperation between the two sides centered on "green electricity + advanced manufacturing".
Going forward, all parties will jointly advance the in-depth development of green energy resources, the electrification of transport and logistics networks, and the construction of charging, battery-swapping, and integrated energy service networks across the province. They will work to build a green industrial ecosystem covering "source-grid-load-storage", supporting the optimization of Yunnan's energy infrastructure and the green transformation of its industries, and embracing a new era of comprehensive growth.
