On April 10,CATL and Jianlong Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Ningde, Fujian. The two parties will engage in in-depth cooperation in areas including new energy adoption in the steel industry, green smart mining, logistics electrification, zero-carbon industrial parks, and supply chain collaboration, jointly creating a benchmark for the green and low-carbon transformation of the steel industry.

To address the high energy consumption demands across Jianlong Group's production operations—including industrial parks, steel plants, and mines—CATL will provide Jianlong Group with power batteries and integrated charging & battery swapping solutions covering a full range of vehicles and machinery, including electric mining trucks, heavy-duty trucks, vessels, and construction machinery. By 2030, the two parties aim to deploy more than 3,000 electric heavy-duty trucks, establish battery swap networks along no fewer than 16 logistics hub routes, and build and operate 100 battery swap stations. In addition, the two sides will advance both centralized and distributed wind and solar power projects, while using Jianlong Group's industrial parks as pilot sites to explore a mutually empowering pathway between the new energy transformation of high energy-consuming industries and the industrialization of new energy technologies.
Moving forward, CATL will continue to drive the green transformation of high energy-consuming industries through technological innovation, and work with Jianlong Group to build a full-chain zero-carbon model spanning mining, transportation, energy, and materials, providing replicable innovative solutions for global industrial decarbonization.
