CATL and JAC Group Embark on a New 10-Year Partnership

On October 25, CATL signed a strategic cooperation agreement with JAC Group. The parties will focus on technology, supply, and international expansion, leveraging CATL's industry-leading battery technology to support all JAC Group product lines and deliver safer, more efficient mobility value to users.

JAC Group is a comprehensive automotive enterprise covering vehicle manufacturing and mobility services. Its "Maextro" series, as an epoch-making force driving the high-end transition of China's automotive industry, has redefined the market pattern of domestic luxury smart electric vehicles. This series of models adopts advanced products such as CATL Qilin and Freevoy batteries, and integrates a number of leading technologies, including superfast charging, dual large-surface cooling, NP2.0 thermal protection, and ultra-safe underbody protection. These technologies comprehensively enhance the safety and performance of batteries and the entire vehicle, and optimize the driving experience of end-users.

Centering on JAC Group's premium supply chain strategy, the parties will integrate advantageous resources and carry out in-depth cooperation in the following three key directions:


More Stable Supply: CATL will provide long-term and high-quality power batteries for all models of JAC Group, ensuring supply chain security and sustained technological leadership.


More Advanced Products: The parties will cooperate in key fields such as superfast charging, dual-power technology, battery life extension, CIIC integrated intelligent chassis, battery swapping ecosystem, and battery data application. This aims to ensure that new technologies are quickly applied to mass-produced vehicles.


Broader Markets: They will join hands to expand international markets, jointly develop new energy vehicle models that meet the needs of diverse global market demands, and promote the market expansion of both their passenger vehicle brands (JAC, Yiwei, Refine) and commercial vehicle brand (Ankai).


Moving forwards, the parties will continue to explore innovations in power battery technology and business models, jointly create safer, more efficient, and more luxurious mobility experiences for users, and help China's new energy vehicle industry enter a new stage of higher-end development and higher level of globalization.
